I need to configure the home page that each type of user will see when starting session.


User Registered -> mydomain.com/categories
User Author -> mydomain.com/cb-profile

any can help me ?

Set the login redirect URL in your CB Login module to your categories page (do not use SEF or relative, use non-SEF beginning with index.php). Then using CB Auto Actions create a Redirect action as follows.

Global
Triggers: onAfterUserLoginSuccess
Type: Redirect
User: Self
Access: Author
Action
URL: index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=userprofile
