There is no limit to the number of overrides, but too many can slow down the repeat usage. Most likely whatever language override key you're trying to use just isn't valid. What are you trying to override?

It's a custom one, I added 'countrydesc' in the parameters and setup the translation in the overrides. It works perfectly for all others but not for this, no idea why not as it's not being used anywhere else. Very odd, I will try and delete the field and add again
countrydesc is the language key? and it's for a field description I assume? Ensure your WYSIWYG editor didn't add HTML around the description by clicking view source for the description as translations are not inline.
