[SOLVED] cannot change privacy in frontend on profile edit

Hi,

I activated privacy, working and showing on the profile edit.

display set to public and private, rules are enabled for both

but if I enter the profile edit page and select privacy on a field, it stays gray and is not selectable.

Searched a lot around but cannot find the reason for it.
Backend changing is working fine, but cannot change privacy on frontend.

Even if I uninstall/install the plugin again it stays grey.

Don't know why. Same behavior at all privacy fields in this page.

ok, I found out that only layout button does not work.

If I switch to tags or icons I can change privacy in frontend.

Where can this problem can come from?

The dropdown doesn't open when clicked or it's just gray colored? Switch to default Joomla protostar template and see if issue resolves. Could be just a CSS conflict or it could be JS from template altering the input.

Indeed seems to be a conflict with my template js.

How can I fix this? I'm not that familar with it!

You'll have to contact the developer of your template for them to take a look and see what's going on. They maybe trying to force chosen.js on every select element or something of the sort.
