I'm trying to use Ajax text fields to allow users to leave comments on another users profile but I can't figure out how to allowing visitors to edit the field. Is there a way to setup Ajax Text Fields to function in this way?
You can't do that, the field is not designed to function like you're wanting. Only the profile owner themselves or a moderator can edit the contents of an ajax field.
